The phenomenal success of NCPS-2017 and NCPS-2019, attracting over 250 participants, including about 100 young researchers, offered a unique opportunity for the Indian polar community to interact. NCPS-2023 aims to bring eminent researchers working in diverse polar regions of the Arctic, Antarctic, Southern Ocean, and the Himalayas to a common ground where interdisciplinary approaches can be discussed to address the various scientific and operational issues. This event will also provide a platform for Early Career Researchers to interact and exchange their research ideas, findings, and experiences.
